Restorative Dentistry Solutions from an Anaheim Dentist

  • Dental bonding.  We often recommend dental bonding for children or patients that have damaged a tooth and need an immediate restoration. With dental bonding, we can restore teeth that have been cracked or chipped as long as the damage is not too extensive. In this procedure, a tooth-colored bonding material is applied to the surface of a prepared tooth, shaped in place, and then hardened. Dental bonding allows our patients to visit our Anaheim, CA dental office with a damaged tooth and leave with a tooth that is fully functional and natural-looking.
  • Porcelain veneers. At Impladent Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry, we use porcelain veneers to restore teeth on a regular basis. Porcelain veneers are incredibly popular because they can be used to not only restore teeth but also to close gaps in between them, cover dark stains, change the overall shape and size of teeth or to create a Hollywood-style smile. Porcelain veneers are beautiful and effective, making them very popular with our 92805 patients.
  • Dental crowns.  If your teeth have suffered more extensive damage, dental crowns are going to be the better option for your restoration.  As a restorative dentist, we regularly place tooth-colored dental crowns to restore teeth after much of the enamel has been eroded or a tooth has been severely chipped or cracked. Since dental crowns are actually caps that surround the visible portion of the tooth, it makes it possible for us to save a tooth that may otherwise need to be extracted.  It is also important to note that dental crowns are more often placed on back teeth, where both porcelain veneers and dental crowns can be placed on front teeth.
  • Dental bridges. If you have suffered adult tooth loss, we can replace your missing teeth using secure dental bridges. Bridges are an excellent way to give you back the full functionality of a complete set of natural teeth. Instead of wearing dentures that can feel loose and slip out of place and need to be removed at night, your teeth can be replaced with a dental bridge that you will never need to think about. By simply brushing and flossing your teeth like normal, you can act like you have a full set of healthy teeth and it will feel like you do as well. This makes dental bridges far more convenient than dentures and more natural-looking.
